FRIDEE FIX

In “Fridee Fix,” Rosie and her crew are selling her famous moonshine: a legendary cure-all handed down through the generations. But not even Rosie’s brew can lift her and her neighbors from their desperate circumstances in post-Depression era rural Tennessee. A series of mysterious letters brings further uncertainty to the citizens of Blue Valley.

HOMEMADE MOUNTAIN DEW

In “Homemade Mountain Dew,” Joey and a reluctant Mary Dean take Lou up the mountain to their hidden moonshine still. With the still clanging and brewing away behind them, Joey and Mary Dean explain the process and the pride in making moonshine and give Lou her first taste of that good ol’ Homemade Mountain Dew.

SIMPLE

In “Simple,” Mary Dean begins to reluctantly warm up to her new housemate, Lou, as she attempts to teach her how to drive the farm’s pickup truck. The two bond over the vast differences in how they see the world and how they approach romance, and sparks fly as Lou starts the car.

I GOT IT ALL

In “I Got It All,” Rosie is visited by Thomas Brewer, an agent from the Tennessee Valley Authority. She tells him he is wasting his breath with his offer to buy her property. She’s got everything she needs and more–her farm, her family, and all the joy and frustrations they bring.
